Satisfaction is what every human being want in life. If you eat food,it is obvious that you wish to get satisfied. If not, that means you will sleep hungry.
Satisfaction is also part of human being's way of living. We all live to be satisfied.
In a situation where one fails to be satisfied, problems have to arise.
Comrades, appointment of independent electoral commission in a multiparty system of governance shall never satisfy citizens, especially where the one in charge of appointment happens to be a leader of another political party.
Well in Uganda, many citizens have grieved for independent electoral commission for many years. Its high time, the multiparty system of governance gets its own independent electoral commission where all parties nominate representatives on the board.
This will reduce on the poor electoral arrangements where majority thinks the ruling party gets more favor.
Uganda went into multiparty system of governance, but there has not been balance in leadership, and appointments based on political parties. If this system doesn't change,Ugandans may never prove the reality of free and fair elections.
A lot has to be done if this is to be achieved.
Engineer Badru Kiggundu has retired with a lot of criticism from the public. Many Ugandans have cursed and cartooned him to the extent of linking him to humor of the recent US elections where he was called by Madam Clinton for help.
This is a bad image to a prominent man who too needs freedom in his country. All this hate has been due to lacking sufficient appointment board to consider the grievances of political parties and candidates themselves.
I call upon fellow countrymen,to pray for our lovely country especially in this era of un satisfaction.
Being in political parties has totally lost meaning,a reason we call for action through extensive political approach to our party leaders.
I speak this just hours after the president of Uganda appoints his committee to run the commission. Already, most citizens have started to criticise it before it starts to deliver.....
I thank you.
