The Boss Lady’s Birthday, A Love Story from the Hills of Kabale.

πŸŽ‰ A Queen from Kitambi Maziba: A Birthday Story πŸŽ‰
Long, long ago—in the misty, terraced hills of Kitambi Maziba, Kabale District—a miracle happened. The sun paused, the wind whispered, and even the roosters crowed off-key in celebration. Why? Because a girl was born who would grow up to outshine the stars, outwork the ants, and outlove even my stubborn self. That girl is my wife, the woman we celebrate today.

As a child, she probably ran up and down Kabale’s slippery hills balancing pots of water, unknowingly preparing for her future role of balancing everything—from business empires to family life, from entrepreneurship to media leadership. If Kabale hills could talk, they’d say: “Eh, that one, she was destined for greatness.”

Fast forward. This young lady grew into a force of nature. She sharpened her mind with education, polished her skills with determination, and today stands as CEO of Teaptek Innovations—a company that doesn’t just train Ugandans, but literally reprograms survival skills into them. If you’re sitting around waiting for handouts, she will tell you: “My friend, wake up. God gave you hands, use them.” That’s her gospel.

But wait, she’s not just stopping there. She is also the Co-Director of DE’TEK Media Uganda, a creative house that edits, designs, and publishes the very stories that shape minds. If Teaptek teaches you how to use your hands, DE’TEK teaches you how to tell your story, how to put ink on paper and transform it into legacy. She wears both crowns with such elegance that sometimes I wonder if she has extra storage space in her brain.

Now, as a business leader, she is fearless. As a mother, she is nurturing. As a wife, she is my PhD in patience. Honestly, if there was a Guinness World Record for tolerating a husband’s stubbornness, my wife would win gold, silver, and bronze—all in one day.

But beyond the humour, she is a true inspiration to young people. She is living proof that you can be born in the hills of Maziba and still command boardrooms in Kampala. She is evidence that a woman can be both visionary and loving, both corporate and compassionate, both a boss and a queen.

Today, my darling, on your birthday, I celebrate you—not just for who you are to me, but for what you represent to Uganda. You are a CEO, a Co-Director, a mother, a wife, a leader, a dreamer, and above all, a beautiful soul that makes life worth living.

So here’s to you, my queen:
🌸 May your laughter ring louder than boda boda horns on Kampala Road.
🌸 May your vision soar higher than Uganda’s crested crane.
🌸 May your legacy shape generations the way Kabale hills shape the sky.

Happy Birthday to the love of my life, the boss lady of Teaptek, the creative queen of DE’TEK, and the heartbeat of my home. πŸŽ‚❤️
